At least 2 years ED experience for contract labor BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC for contract labor Adaptability Strong communication skills with patients and peers Strong assessment skills Dependability and punctuality Strong critical thinking skills Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. At least one year ED experience for HCA hired staff BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for HCA hired staff Strong understanding of EKG interpretation List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Trauma Stroke Care Laceration repair Orthopedic trauma U/S IV insertion IO insertion Eye exam EKG Psychiatric care Cardiopulmonary care Best personality Fit: Motivated hard worker, creative problem solver, general desire to help and care for patients REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred (must for contract labor) Floating Area(s): none Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - no hooded shirts or sweatshirts (safety) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. RN's working with policy written protocols based off chief complaint.
