Independently performs technical duties associated with procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assists physicians in performing procedures and assists nursing staff with patient care activities.Primary Position Responsibilities1. Prepare the Catheterization Laboratory and equipment for procedures, maintain supply inventory, and support a clean environment of care.2. Function as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional and all other procedures performed in the Cath Lab.3. Function as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator during procedures; provides accurate recordkeeping of procedures.4. Provides high quality radiographic imaging, which includes quality assurance and radiation safety.5. Review documentation, including procedure orders and patient medical record; explain procedure, answer questions and provide a high level patient experience.6. Maintain record of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.Minimum Education:Required:Graduate of Radiology Technology program, Registered Radiology Technologist through AARTMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):Required:1 YearPreferred:2 or more years Program name:Contract (Allied) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks:89
