Hospital Outpatient Pharmacist duties to include: Review patient prescriptions and profile for accuracy and appropriateness, fill all prescriptions in accordance with established policies and procedures and NYS law, monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions and allergies, communicate with providers to clarify prescriptions, provide clinical consultation and clarification (cost-effective , therapeutic alternatives), familiar with billing procedures and third party contracts, supervise pharmacy technicians, provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers. Schedule Notes:Shift Time - 10:00 AM-6:00 PMSkills: Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of Pharmacist experience. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Pharmacy dispensing system experience. -Sterile Processing experience. -IV room experience. -Knowledge of an EMR (Electronic Medical Records system) preferred.
