ID: 64452701 Shift: 14:00-02:00 Description: Description:Data Collection: 7/31/2026 Unit Information: Emergency Department Location: HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast Address: 4000 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505 Floor: First Building: South Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 30 Number of Staff 49 FTE, 6 PRN, 2 Leadership Type of staff: o Day Shift CNC-1, RNs Based on volume forecast (7-10), 2PCT/EMT, 1 US o Night Shift CNC-1, RNs- based on volume forecast (7-10) 1 PCT/EMT, 1 US Patient Ratios 1-5 at the most ( acuity dependent) Type of equipment Advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines EMR Meditech- moving to Expanse on 8/13/26 Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Advance critical thinking and skills Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, Stroke and Sepsis Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Adult and pediatric ED experience Completed certifications aligned under HCA Nurse Contract and Pool List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Thoracotomy Arterial lines and MTP Best personality Fit: Flexible, Accountability, Responsible and a great Team Player REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC, (NRP and STABLE is a plus) Floating Area(s): Two Free Standing ED if needed Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue scrubs and follow Dress Code Policy Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
