About the Position
Specialty: RN – Newborn Nursery
Experience: 1+ year of nursery or maternal-child nursing preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA, NRP required
Must-Have: Experience with newborn assessments, thermoregulation, feeding support, and parent education
Description: The Newborn Nursery RN provides specialized care to healthy newborns during the immediate postpartum period. Responsibilities include performing head-to-toe assessments, monitoring vitals, supporting breastfeeding and formula feeding, administering newborn medications, and collaborating with pediatricians to ensure safe discharge planning.
