Specialty: Orthopedic Technician
Experience: 1+ year in orthopedic or acute care setting preferred
Certifications: BLS required; Orthopedic Technologist Certification (OTC) preferred
Must-Have: Skilled in casting, splinting, traction, and orthopedic support procedures
Description: The Ortho Tech assists physicians in the care and treatment of patients with orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include applying and removing casts and splints, fitting orthopedic braces and devices, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining orthopedic equipment, and providing patient education on mobility and device care.
