About the Position:
• Specialty: Radiation Therapist
• Experience: 1+ year in a clinical radiation oncology setting preferred
• License: Active State or Compact RN License
• Certifications: ARRT (T) certification and BLS required
• Must-Have: Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Description:
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Duties include setting up and operating radiation equipment, verifying patient identity and treatment parameters, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining accurate treatment records. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards throughout therapy.
Requirements:
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS certification
