Specialty: RN – Nursing Home
Experience: 1–2 years of long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA (other certifications may be required per facility)
Must-Have: Compassion for the elderly, attention to detail, strong clinical judgment
Description: The Nursing Home RN provides direct and compassionate nursing care to elderly residents in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with healthcare providers, monitoring patient health, supporting ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and maintaining accurate documentation. Ensures residents' dignity and safety while promoting their overall well-being.
