    External Position Overview 

    One of our Partners in Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Oncology NP or PA for a 6-week locum assignment (05/28/2026 – 07/10/2026) within a dedicated Symptom Management Clinic.

    This role offers:

    • No call, no weekends
    • Predictable Monday–Friday schedule
    • Focused oncology care without inpatient responsibilities
    • Practice within a large, well-supported cancer center
    • $125 / Hour

    Ideal for providers seeking structured outpatient oncology work with strong compensation and excellent work-life balance.

    Assignment Highlights

    • Top 15% APP compensation (2026 market data)
    • 100% outpatient oncology role
    • No call, nights, or weekends
    • 6-week defined assignment (late May through mid-July)
    • Manageable patient volume (12–14/day)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and treat oncology patients experiencing acute chemotherapy-related side effects
    • Manage symptoms such as:
      • Nausea and vomiting
      • Dehydration
      • Fever
    • Provide care within the Symptom Management Clinic
    • Respond to medication reactions in the nearby infusion suite
    • Coordinate care with oncology physicians and infusion staff
    • Document all care in EMR
