External Position Overview
One of our Partners in Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Oncology NP or PA for a 6-week locum assignment (05/28/2026 – 07/10/2026) within a dedicated Symptom Management Clinic.
This role offers:
- No call, no weekends
- Predictable Monday–Friday schedule
- Focused oncology care without inpatient responsibilities
- Practice within a large, well-supported cancer center
- $125 / Hour
Ideal for providers seeking structured outpatient oncology work with strong compensation and excellent work-life balance.
Assignment Highlights
- Top 15% APP compensation (2026 market data)
- 100% outpatient oncology role
- No call, nights, or weekends
- 6-week defined assignment (late May through mid-July)
- Manageable patient volume (12–14/day)

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat oncology patients experiencing acute chemotherapy-related side effects
- Manage symptoms such as:
- Nausea and vomiting
- Dehydration
- Fever
- Provide care within the Symptom Management Clinic
- Respond to medication reactions in the nearby infusion suite
- Coordinate care with oncology physicians and infusion staff
- Document all care in EMR
