Position Overview $160/hour
One of our Partners in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant for a consistent weekday locums assignment at a Level I Trauma Center.
This opportunity offers:
- $160/hour provider compensation
- Day shifts only — no nights or call
- Predictable weekday scheduling
- Adult trauma surgery exposure with strong surgical support

Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient trauma surgery coverage
- Participate in trauma evaluations and admissions
- Manage trauma transfer acceptances from outside facilities
- Assist with acute trauma management and coordination of care
- Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, emergency medicine, and ICU teams
- Perform daily rounding and documentation
- Participate in procedures within scope and privileging
- Manage Epic EMR documentation
