Specialized Neurological Unit - Registered Nurse

Schedule Details

• 3x12.0 hour shifts
• Rotating shift schedules
• Weekends and holidays required
• On-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
• 48 hours straight time considered

• Care for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more
• Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region with many acute and complex patients
• Work with specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for patient population

Requirements

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) Years Experience
• Telemetry Experience Required
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification highly preferred
