This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Operating Room Nurse Position

Shift Details

• 3x12.0 hour shifts • Day/Evening/Night Rotating Shift Schedule • On call/callback requirements • Floating assignments • Holiday and weekend coverage per unit needs

Job Duties

• Care for a wide variety of patients in the Operating Room • Work with multiple specialties including: • Orthopedics • General surgery • Plastics • Urology • Cardiac • Neuro • Vascular • Ophthalmic • GYN • ENT • Thoracic • Oral-maxillofacial • Trauma (level 1 trauma center) • Utilize 2 Davinci robots used by multi-services • Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts

Job Requirements

• RN License (NY state license ONLY) • Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred • Able to scrub and circulate

Certification(s)

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) • ACLS (PREFERRED)

Preferred Surgical Experience

• Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive) • Craniotomy • Strong Ortho background

Skills Summary

• RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required • BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required • Two (2) Years Experience - Required (2 Years) • OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred - Required • ACLS (Preferred) - Required
