ED RN Job Description 
 
The ED RN position requires a highly skilled RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience, preferably with a Level I Trauma Facility. The ED RN will provide fast-paced, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illness, injury, or trauma.  
 
ED RN Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity of condition
	</li><li>Monitor vital signs and recognize life-threatening changes
	</li><li>Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments
	</li><li>Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, and emergency procedures
	</li><li>Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgeries
	</li><li>Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
	</li><li>Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
	</li><li>Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations
	</li><li>Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
</li></ul>
ED RN Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
	</li><li>2+ years of recent ED RN experience
	</li><li>Level I Trauma experience (preferred)
	</li><li>Holds active AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
