Required certifications: BLS; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.

Required experience: Experience with IV chemotherapy & Immunotherapy regimens and administration – hanging /
handling precautions (PPE) for chemotherapy, along with monitoring for side effects of medication.

- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts. Start time 0700 or 1900. Varies depending on needs of unit could be 1/2 contract on days
and 1/2 contract on nights or contract could be nights only. We flex depending on current need of the unit and work with the
Traveler every step of the way. Self-Scheduling, however Shauna balances schedule and they would need to work with her on
requests. Schedule is completed in a 6-week timeframe.
- Weekend Requirement: We work every other weekend, Days = Sat/Sun and Nights = Fri/Sat, as staffing permits.
- Holiday Requirement: We work every other holiday.
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: None
- Floating Requirements: Traveler RNs will be added to our float rotation with all of the other RNs. A floating episode can consist of a 4 hour or greater period of time. When determining whose turn it is to float, it will be the RN whose float is the furthest away from the past. Any other Gen Med level of care.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: No specific scrub color.
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 24-36 hrs.
- Additional Notes: They utilize Epic Beacon on this unit for EMR documentation. Experience giving IV Chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications.
