Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC c

Required skills & experience: Candidates must have required certifications. General nursing skills - would prefer 2 years of nursing experience at least and at least 1 prior travel assignment. SANE RN experience preferred. Working at a hospital with residents (teaching hospital) preferred.

- Shifts & Scheduling: Nights (7p-7:30a). 12 hour shifts. Positions are not day/night rotating. Travelers do not self-schedule, they are scheduled by the scheduling manager but can include time off requests in their contract and we will review and approve/deny based on our ability to accommodate the scheduling requests. We do allow block scheduling when we can. With every other weekend this usually results in 2 on, then 4 on rotation. Others do 6 in a row and we can usually accommodate this with no issue.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend on a rotation. Weekends for all shifts with the exception of 7p-7a is Sat/Sun. Weekend requirement for 7a-7p is Fri/Sat.
- Holiday Requirements: Yes, every other or based on department needs. This is negotiable based on their contract request.
- Is there call or a standby requirement?: No call requirement for travelers.
- Floating Requirements: Can be floated to be "help all's" on other units. This is very rare and typically not the travelers who are floated. This is new since covid and not something that happens frequently. An ED nurse would not be expected to take a team on another unit. If floated they would be a help all.
- Scrub Color: No specific color. Tasteful scrubs with only solid colored shirts under.
