Job Opportunity

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Missouri

Shift: Days (8 hours)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement treatment plans aimed at enhancing swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities while reducing aspiration risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee communication and swallowing treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
Provide guidance and direction for the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures.
Support patients in becoming better understood and in enhancing their understanding of others.

Qualifications:

Valid and unrestricted speech-language pathology license in the state of Missouri.
Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and guidelines related to long-term care.
Valid driver's license.

Work Schedule:

This position requires an 8-hour daily commitment during weekdays with no on-call or weekend shifts.
