Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to join our team for a 3x12 hour day shift, from 07:00 to 19:00. This position is essential for supporting our diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including but not limited to:
• Cardiac Implant Closure Device placement
• Cardiac Stent Placement
• Diagnostic Catheterizations for adults
• IABP Placement/Removal
• Interpret dysrhythmias
• Left Heart Catheterization
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
• Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
• Right Heart Catheterization
• Rotablader Atherectomy
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Act as a room circulator and ensure infection control procedures are followed.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred in cath lab settings.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include:
• ACLS
• ARRT R
• BLS
• CCI RCIS
• Skills: Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures.
• Technology: Epic experience within the last 6 months is required.
• Travel: Travel experience preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for weeknight call (7 PM to 7 AM) and weekend shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) as needed. The candidate must also be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays when necessary.
