Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

• Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Charting System: Epic
• Call Required: Yes, weekdays and weekends
• Weekend Shifts per Contract: 3-4
• Orientation Hours: 40
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Patient Census: 21
• Number of Rooms: 7
• Facility Types: Short Term Acute Care
• Total Staff Beds: 536

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between units as needed, based on skill sets and unit demands.

Qualifications:

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS*
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Cath Lab setting. First-timers are welcome.
• Special Skills: Knowledge in Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterizations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring.
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 during the day; 1:4 during night shifts.

Location:

Positions available in the following cities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent, OR.

Additional Notes:

Candidates must have a vehicle to commute for this assignment. Floating to different units is common based on patient care needs. Incentives are offered for shifts worked in Seaside, along with mileage reimbursement.
