Position Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour Nights) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week

Location: Vermont

Description

This position is in an Adaptive Acuity Unit. Travelers may be required to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care as needed, adhering to a patient ratio of 3:1. This requirement is mandatory and cannot be declined.

Candidates must have experience with IV drips. Note that orientation hours are not billable.

Patient Care Details

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Number of Beds: 25
• Charge Experience: Required
• Holiday Multiplier: 1.25%
• Overtime: No multiplier; all overtime is paid at regular rates.
• On-Call and Charge Responsibilities: Not applicable for this position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Med-Surg/Tele experience
• Charge experience is required
• PCU experience is strongly preferred
• Prior experience with IV drips is necessary
• ICU experience is strongly preferred
• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit as needed
• Minimum 3 months of previous travel experience is required
• Experience in small critical access facilities is preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
