Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse with a focus on Circulating roles in a surgical setting. This position requires a strong background in various surgical disciplines and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8-hour days
• Floating required to various surgical centers as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in the operating room as a Circulating Nurse
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specializations including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric Surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Precept and mentor new staff as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current experience in Operating Room Circulating roles
• Endoscopy experience is required
• Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeries is necessary
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
• Candidates must have a valid vehicle for travel to various locations

Dress Code & Orientation

• Facility provided scrubs will be supplied
• Participation in an 8-hour non-billable orientation is required

Additional Information

• Holiday and overtime work may be required
• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Current Massachusetts state nursing license
