Position: Registered Nurse

This position involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through both initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician’s medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
• Document care in accordance with standards of practice and patient acuity, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
• Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support the adoption of innovative practices in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
• Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule Details:

• Shift: Night
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: As needed

Experience Requirements:

• Required Years of Experience: 1 year
• Preferred Years of Experience: 2+ years, particularly in Med-Surg

• EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm analysis
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• IV therapy and insertion
• Medication administration

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License (NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license)
• BLS certification

• NIHSS certification
• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours

Education Requirements:

• Required Education: ASN
• Preferred Education: BSN
