Position: Registered Staff Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Staff Nurse (RN) to provide holistic care to patients and their families. The RN will focus on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions while adhering to established standards and competencies relevant to the assigned service area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and revise individual patient care plans, coordinating care among various disciplines.
• Delegate activities to other care providers as appropriate to enhance patient care quality.
• Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
• Continuously improve practices and the care environment while promoting exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Critical Care experience (ICU/ED) is required.
• Previous PACU experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience with both pediatric and geriatric patient populations is required.
• Experience in a Trauma Level I setting is required.
• Active nursing license in Minnesota.

Additional Information:

• This position requires working nights, with a commitment to a schedule of 12-hour shifts.
• The RN will be expected to work every third weekend.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
• Contract duration: 56 days.
