Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Orange County, CA

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Years of Experience Required: 1 year

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at an outpatient imaging center within a leading Heart & Vascular Institute. In this role, you will prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation, measurement, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures
• Conduct camera quality control and hot lab quality control
• Starting and maintaining IVs as required

Qualifications:

• Certification as CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: Experience with Philips Cardio MD 60
• Preferred: Exposure to nuclear cardiology and myocardial pharmacological stress testing

Work Environment & Patient Care:

• Work primarily with adult patients, including geriatric demographics
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5 during shifts

Additional Information:

• No weekend requirements
• Local candidates accepted
• Pending state licenses may be accepted, but must be obtained within 4 weeks of submission
• Charting will be completed using EPIC
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
