Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and demonstrating clinical competence. The RN is responsible for triaging patients, obtaining patient history and vital signs, and conducting comprehensive patient assessments. This position requires the ability to act independently to initiate immediate care in life-threatening situations, ensuring both acutely ill and non-acute patients receive appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough nursing assessments, intervening as necessary and participating in the development of care plans.
• Regularly evaluate patient needs and deliver skilled nursing services as dictated by the physician’s authorized plan of care and nursing standards.
• Accurately process physician/provider orders and ensure timely follow-up regarding medication updates and order clarifications.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, offering suggestions or facilitating modifications to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to update and revise treatment plans based on current patient information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC are mandatory.
• Prior experience in a travel nursing capacity is highly preferred.

Work Schedule

This position involves 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend.
