Position Overview
Join our dynamic team in the Interventional Radiology Lab, providing specialized care to both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations. Our lab is located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion and operates 24/7 to accommodate emergency procedures at all times, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
The role involves working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, and registered radiology technologists. Key procedures include:
- Angiogram of Multiple Systems
- Peripheral Revascularization
- Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheters
- Nephrostomy Drainage Tube Management
- Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes
- Central Line Placement
- Vascular Access, including Port Placement and Integrity Checks
- Pain Management Interventions
- Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
- Pre and Post-Care for Patients undergoing Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsies
- Carotid Stenting
Patient Population
The role provides care for a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents through geriatrics.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology is required.
- Experience with adolescent and geriatric patient care is essential.
- Familiarity with procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phases is necessary.
- Flexibility to float to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab as needed.

Working Schedule
The position offers various schedule options, including 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts. Weekend coverage is required approximately once every seven weeks.
Dress Code
Hospital-provided scrubs will be utilized as part of the dress code.
Certifications
Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required for this position.
License Information
