Description
Position Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location:
Oregon
Unit Description:
- Specialty: Cath Lab Tech

- Total Staff Beds: 536
- Teaching Hospital
Shift Details:
Day Shift: 4 x 10 Hours (06:00 - 16:00)
Weekend shifts are not required.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Active Radiology Technologist license from another state, with application for an Oregon License from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
- Fluoroscopy operation requires a valid Oregon license.
Certifications:
- ACLS
- ARRT and OBMI Licensure
- BLS
- CCI RCIS (preferred)
Skills Required:
- Accurate monitoring of patients
- Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Room circulator and maintaining a sterile field during procedures

- Vascular Studies/Procedures:
- Angioplasty
- Carotid Stenting
- Central Venous Access/Port Placement
- Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
- TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
- Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
- Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures:
- ASD Closures
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- ECMO
- Impella Insertion
- Left and Right Heart Catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
- Temporary Pacemaker (preferred)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) (preferred)
- Neurological Procedures:
- Carotid Angiography
- Discogram
- Embolization
- Stent Placement
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
- Vertebroplasty
- Electrophysiology Studies:
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs (preferred)
Patient Demographics:
- Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 25 patients
Special Equipment:
Experience as a CVL Radiology Technologist is required.
