Position Details

This position offers a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. The role involves providing care to a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics in a Level III Trauma facility. Candidates must be proficient in various medical procedures and handle critical patient situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the ICU.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology, including ventilators and IV drips.
• Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamics.
• Manage arterial lines and vaso pressures.
• May be required to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Participate in training and mentoring new staff as needed.
• Complete all necessary compliance and health documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current ICU experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Must possess ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Ability to provide your own transportation.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
