Position: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care through a series of responsibilities that encompass assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during assigned shifts.
• Prepare patients for procedures in the holding area, which includes conducting thorough assessments, initiating IV access, administering medications, and ensuring patient readiness.
• Assist with invasive procedures in the lab, monitor hemodynamic status, and perform circulating or scrubbing duties as required.
• Respond to emergent situations with efficiency and professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Monitor patients post-procedure, ensuring recovery and providing thorough discharge education.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse License.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.

Work Schedule:

This position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with a shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
