Description
Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: City, State
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will join a dynamic and fast-paced Interventional Radiology Department that supports Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. The team consists of experienced professionals utilizing cutting-edge equipment, including Philips and GE Hybrid rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiograms, nephograms, and kyphoplasty.
- Perform essential tasks such as placement of standard and specialized catheters and drains.
- Conduct biopsies and manage equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide support in the outpatient setting and may float to like units as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or related field preferred.
- ARRT Certification (R), Basic Life Support (BLS), and a State License for Washington are required.
- IR/CV Certification is preferred.
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience performing abdominal and pelvic angioplasty, embolization, and vascular studies.
- Familiarity with advanced procedures such as TIPS, stent placements, and vertebroplasty.
- Proficiency in using imaging equipment such as PACS.
- Experience in working with GE Innova and Siemens systems.

The focus will be on adult and geriatric populations, ensuring that all patients receive exemplary care during and after procedures.

Floating between various units may be required depending on patient needs. All scheduling preferences must be communicated in advance.
