Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: City, State

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will join a dynamic and fast-paced Interventional Radiology Department that supports Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. The team consists of experienced professionals utilizing cutting-edge equipment, including Philips and GE Hybrid rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiograms, nephograms, and kyphoplasty.
• Perform essential tasks such as placement of standard and specialized catheters and drains.
• Conduct biopsies and manage equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide support in the outpatient setting and may float to like units as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or related field preferred.
• ARRT Certification (R), Basic Life Support (BLS), and a State License for Washington are required.
• IR/CV Certification is preferred.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing abdominal and pelvic angioplasty, embolization, and vascular studies.
• Familiarity with advanced procedures such as TIPS, stent placements, and vertebroplasty.
• Proficiency in using imaging equipment such as PACS.
• Experience in working with GE Innova and Siemens systems.
