Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, and experience in generating preliminary echo reports for physician interpretation.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms including 2-D echo, bubble studies, and imaging with contrast agents.
• Utilize color Doppler and M-Mode techniques in echocardiographic assessments.
• Conduct pharmacologic and treadmill stress echocardiograms as needed.
• Make and document necessary calculations including diastology, LV strain/LV volume, and Simpson's rule.
• Build preliminary echo reports in the EMR for physician interpretation.

Qualifications

• Certification: Preferred certifications include ARDMS RDCS AE, ARDMS, RDCS.
• Skills: Experience and proficiency in the following areas are preferred:
  • Adult Echo
  • 2-D Echo
  • Bubble Study
  • Color Doppler
  • Imaging with Contrast Agents
  • M-Mode
  • Pharmacologic Stress Echo
  • Treadmill Stress Echo
  • Diastology
  • LV Strain/LV Volume measurements
  • Simpson’s Rule
