Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position involves performing a variety of mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 3-D and diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies.
• Conduct screening mammograms and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using charting systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the Radiology department.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Shift Details:

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
• Weekend Requirements: Not specified
• Floating Potential: May need to float between like units

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 during shifts
• Certifications: ARRT R, BLS preferred
• Skills:

Work Environment:

The position involves working with both inpatient and outpatient populations, with a typical patient volume of 20 visits per day in a two-room setup. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
