Position Overview

This position offers same-day interviews for qualified candidates. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Shift Details

The work schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts. Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the hospital.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients on a stepdown unit.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5.

Holiday Work Requirements

Employees will be required to work during winter holidays, specifically Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving. There will be restrictions on taking days off during the holiday season.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of previous stepdown experience is required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications are required.
• License must be valid in Illinois or Iowa.

The duration of the contract is 91 days.
