Position: Mammography Technologist

Location: City, State

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and cardiology, with specific expertise in mammography procedures. This position is suitable for individuals with relevant experience and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, including 3-D mammography and stereotactic biopsies.
• Conduct fine needle aspirations and needle localizations as part of patient assessments.
• Adhere to safety and isolation precautions within the work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:1 for optimal care.
• Certification in ARRT (Radiography) and BLS preferred.
• Familiarity with charting systems; experience with Epic is a plus.
• Ability to float between units as required.

Patient Demographics:

• Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Approximate Number of Visits Per Day: 20
• Work Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
