Position: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: City, State

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the essential skills and certifications needed for a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality patient care in the realm of Interventional Radiology.

Requirements:

• Years of Experience: 2+ years in a related field
• Certifications:
  • ARRT (R) [post 2011]
  • BLS
  • California State License
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
• Trauma Level I experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform various interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Venous Access
  • Angioplasty
  • Embolization
  • Chest Tube Placement
  • Central Venous Access
  • Biopsies
  • Drain insertions
  • Central Venous Line Care and Maintenance
• Work collaboratively with physicians and medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize PACS and radiological equipment effectively in accordance with protocols.

Daily Caseload:

Manage a daily caseload of 10+ patients, handling a range of procedures such as angiograms, kyphoplasties, ablative therapies, and central venous access.

Preferred Skills:

• Cerebral Interventions
• Experience with equipment such as Toshiba, Philips, and Sonosite Ultrasound
• Nephrogram and vascular studies

Additional Information:

This position requires on-call duties with a minimum of 12 call days over a 6-week schedule, including weekends. The successful candidate may be asked to float to adjacent facilities as needed.

Pre-approved time off is limited to one request.
