Job Opportunity

Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center located in a vibrant city.

Key Details

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks
Patient Ratios: 1:1 during day shifts
Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Average Daily Caseload: 18 patients
Number of Rooms: 4
Orientation Hours: 10
Location: City, State

Call Requirements

Call is required. The IR Lab is covered by a call team from Monday to Friday, 1730-0700, and Saturday and Sunday from 0700-0700. There will be one RN on call during these hours, with the amount of call being variable based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Interventional Radiology
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Charting System: Epic

Preferred Skills

Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
Pressure Ulcer Assessment and Prevention
Sheath Removal and Monitoring
Knowledge of Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
Radiation and Laser Safety
Familiarity with the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
