Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care for patients in critical situations. Our ED RNs will be equipped to handle a diverse range of emergency scenarios involving patients of all ages. They will play a vital role in responding promptly to various trauma situations, requiring quick thinking and decisive actions.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to rapidly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and prioritize their medical needs effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment.
- Recent ED experience within the past six months.
- Demonstrated strong performance and practice within the nursing field.
- Robust clinical knowledge and analytical capabilities to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS - AHA Certified.
- ACLS Certified.
- Telemetry Certified.
- PALS Certified.
- NIHSS Certification.
- CEU Contact Stroke - 4 Hours.
Schedule Notes
This position is within a busy unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and three out of six holidays are required.
Floating may be required within facility to similar units.
