Position Details

This position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will function as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety are upheld.

Shift Information

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour Days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote health and wellness.
• Work collaboratively with ancillary staff and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and compliance with clinical protocols.

Patient Population

Adult and Geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Experience in cardiac drip management is required.
• Experience in dementia care and management is essential.
• NIHSS certification is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system is required.
• Current New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is necessary.
• Current certifications in ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) are required.

Additional Requirements

• This position may require floating to Kingsbury as needed.
• Candidates must own a vehicle as the facility is located in a community without public transportation.
• Permanent address must be included in the application profile.

Dress Code

Professional scrubs (no logos) are to be provided by the traveling nurse.

This position is located in Cheshire, NH.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Every other weekend and holiday rotation will be required.
