Position Overview

This role involves working directly with patients in a collaborative environment that emphasizes advanced physical therapy techniques combined with patient education. Therapists will provide individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatments using manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Assist patients with various diagnoses, including post-operative care, joint replacements, back pain, and tendonitis.
• Support patients with orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's disease.
• Conduct gait and balance training, treatment for fractures, sprains, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
• Implement balance and fall prevention programs, and address pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence.
• Engage in pulmonary rehabilitation as necessary.

Typical Patient Load

The expected patient ratio will be approximately 8 patients per day from Monday to Thursday, and 6 patients on Friday.

Schedule

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week
• Rotating days off must be noted prior to assignment

Qualifications

• Required: Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of current PT experience is required.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.
• Experience with CPSI EMR is highly preferred.
• Previous rehabilitation and travel experience is strongly preferred.
• Active license for physical therapy in New Hampshire or a compact state is required.
• Must possess an active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
