Job Summary
Our Emergency Department (ED) Nurses play a crucial role in providing care to patients during their most critical times. They are equipped to manage a diverse range of emergency situations across all age groups.
ED Nurses are specialized in handling various trauma cases, requiring swift and decisive actions. Ideal candidates must possess the ability to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients, addressing both physical and mental health conditions while prioritizing their medical needs effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment.
- Recent ED experience within the past six months.
- Demonstrated high level of performance and clinical practice.
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- N/A
Required Certifications & Licensure
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours).

Schedule Notes
This role is within a busy unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend, and holiday scheduling is required. Nurses may float within the facility to similar units as needed.
