Position
Nuclear Medicine Technician
Shift
Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
Experience Requirements
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Travel experience not required
Certifications
- ARRT R or NMTCB (preferred)
- BLS certification required

Call Requirements
Yes, on-call is required; includes evening shifts and at least one Saturday per month.
Orientation Hours
40 hours of orientation will be provided.

Special Procedures / Unit Details
This position involves PET/CT scanning, including whole-body FDG PET/CT, brain PET imaging, limited cardiac PET, and neuroendocrine imaging. The facility operates two PET/CT scanners, with the majority of cases focused on oncologic diagnosis.
Schedule Overview
- Monday–Friday, with flexible start times (6 AM to 9:30 AM)
- 8-hour shifts, with the option for 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
- One evening shift and one Saturday per month

Daily Caseload
Approximately 33 PET/CT scans per day, including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging, primarily involving oncology cases.
Requirements
- Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine
- IV start experience and familiarity with PACS
- BLS, ARRT or NMTCB, and state license required
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient settings
