Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy treatment and diagnostic procedures, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy and related procedures.

Work Schedule

• 36-hour guarantee per week.
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Proficient in managing ventilators and interpreting EKG results.
• Willingness to travel is preferred.
• Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) will be accepted.

Certifications Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certified.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.
• Valid state license in Michigan; out-of-state licenses are not accepted.
