Description
Position Title: PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Local Opportunity - City, State
Shift Details
Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)
Schedule includes flexibility with start times ranging from 6:00 to 9:30 AM. An evening shift and one Saturday per month are also required.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience in PET/CT is required.
- Preferred teaching hospital experience.
Certifications and Skills
- Certifications: ARRT R or NMTCB, BLS (preferred).
- Skills: Starting and maintaining IVs, experience with PACS.
- Outpatient and inpatient experience, including ICU/EKGs (preferred).
Work Environment
Work settings include clinic and hospital environments. The position involves performing a variety of scans:
- Dynamic PET Scan procedures:
- Whole Body FDG PET/CT
- Brain PET Imaging
- Cardiac PET
- Neuroendocrine Imaging
- Majority of cases focus on oncologic diagnosis.
Daily Caseload
The average daily caseload includes approximately 33 PET/CT scans.

- Adolescents (preferred)
Additional Information
- Federal holidays off.
- Orientation: 40 hours required.
- Scrubs are not provided; preferences for grey scrubs.
