Position: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Key Details:

• Location: Dallas, TX
• Shift: Day 3x12 Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Travel Experience: Required
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)
• Float Requirement: Required to units of equal or lesser acuity
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
• Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request
• Daily Patient Census: 8 patients
• Number of Beds: 10

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS (preferred)
  • TNCC (preferred)
• Skills:
  • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response
  • Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
  • Management of Patients with Multisystem Organ Dysfunction/Failure
  • Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization/Intervention
  • Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring
  • IV Insulin Protocols
  • Management of Chronic/Acute Renal Failure
  • Administration of Blood Products
  • Management of Ventilated Patients
  • Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Experience:
  • Teaching Hospital Experience (preferred)
  • Community Hospital Experience (preferred)
