Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. This position requires expertise in delivering safe and effective radiation therapy to patients while ensuring optimal patient care and support throughout their treatment process.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour work week (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• No weekend work required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience; 5 years preferred
• Preferred experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • BLS certification
  • Ohio state license

Required Skills

• Proficient in using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA version 15
• Experience with DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold) techniques
• Knowledge of head and neck cancers and central nervous system treatments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vision RT
• Familiarity with treatment techniques for Graves Disease, keloids, Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and various forms of cancer, including kidney and testicular cancers
• Competence in CBCT/kV/mV imaging and dosimetry

Patient Care

Provide treatment to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with neonates and infants is preferred.

Contract Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks total (1 week of onboarding followed by 12 weeks of employment)
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Shifts: 40 hours per week, with varying hours from Monday to Friday
• 10-hour shifts offered during holiday weeks

Dress Code

Scrubs required (black pants with any top).
