Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mammography with a minimum of one year of experience and the necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and screening mammograms.
• Conduct fine needle aspirations and needle localizations.
• Carry out stereotactic biopsies as required.
• Maintain compliance with isolation precautions and utilize proper PPE.
• Assist in maintaining equipment, particularly Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX machines.

Work Schedule

This is a day shift position, operating 5 days a week, from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM.

Patient ratios are as follows:

• Days: 1:3
• Nights: 1:0
• Weekends: 1:0

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification.
• ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced certification preferred.
• Current California License required.

Patient Care and Census

Daily patient census averages around 30, with a total of 2 rooms available for patient care. This position will cater to adult and geriatric age groups.

Additional Information

This position does not require floating between units. All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Approval will be contingent upon the facility's needs.
