Position: Cath Lab Tech

We are seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech with experience in radiology and cardiology to join our team. This position is for a day shift scheduled for 4x10 hours from 07:30 to 18:00. Travel experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintain sterile field during procedures and perform applicable charting.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a traveling Cath Lab Tech.
• Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS (preferred).
• Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.

Skills and Experience Preferred

• Familiarity with Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Radiology, and special procedures.
• Hands-on experience with cardiac procedures such as stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and catheterizations.
• Experience in various patient population ages including adults and geriatrics.

Working Environment

This position will involve:

• Patient Ratio: 1:1 across all shifts.
• Daily census of approximately 16 patients with 4 rooms available.
• Interdisciplinary support from teams such as IV, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and more.

Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in stroke/cerebral angiograms and interventional radiology procedures. Previous travel assignments must be documented.

This is a Short-Term Acute Care facility located in a vibrant area, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care and a collaborative working environment. Scrub colors are flexible; however, certain departments may have specific attire requirements.
