Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team in a step-down unit. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Shift Details

• Shifts: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients in a step-down unit
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the medical team
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Floating to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous step-down experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Willingness to accept first-time travelers
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to provide a work history or resume
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of submission
• License verification
• One supervisory reference required at the time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Licensing Requirements

This position requires a valid state license in Iowa. Compact licenses are allowed.
