Shift Details

Shifts are available from 1900 to 0700 on the following days:

Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Qualifications

New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Responsibilities

Assess patients and families with a range of needs, quickly identifying normal parameters, deviations, and abnormalities in physical, emotional, developmental, and behavioral status based on clinical experience.
Implement a person-centered care approach in developing care plans and prioritizing nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients and families, actively involving them in establishing care goals.
Demonstrate technical competencies required for patient care, and remain informed on organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Act as a resource for peers and engage other health team members in care delivery.
Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided, ensuring thorough follow-through, and apply critical thinking in making clinical decisions while properly documenting care provided.
Stay informed about research and evidence-based practices in nursing, taking initiative in responsibilities within the team and care delivery system.
Support team members in acquiring department-specific knowledge and skills, recognized as a resource for clinical practice and operational systems.
Provide leadership in implementing standards of patient care within the department.

All shifts will be conducted in a facility located in New York, NY.
