About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our team in a dynamic acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in radiology, with a preference for experience in trauma level I facilities. The position requires proficiency in various radiological procedures and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
• Weekend Shifts: Required
• Flexible with floating between like units as needed

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role
• Certifications Required:
  • ARRT R
  • BLS
  • CA License
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
• Charting System: Experience with Epic is required
• Community Hospital Experience: Required
• Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various X-ray procedures including but not limited to:
  • Barium Swallow/Esophagus
  • Contrast Enema
  • Upper GI series
  • Fluoroscopy Studies
• Administer contrast media as required
• Starting Peripheral IVs (preferred)
• Operating C-Arm for surgical procedures
• Patient care for diverse age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Work Environment

The position is in an acute care hospital with a total of 150 staffed beds, providing a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere. You will be expected to float between similar units to meet patient care needs.
