Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology is required.

Certifications

• Active Ohio RN License (Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required
• ARRT certification - Preferred

Special Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures
• Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Preferred
• Scrub Procedures - Preferred
• Electrophysiology Procedures
• Circulate Procedures
• Triage - Preferred

Work Environment

This position involves working in an Interventional Radiology unit with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team to perform a wide range of interventional procedures. The daily census is approximately 30 patients, and there are 9 procedure rooms available.

Patient Care

The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients while maintaining a patient ratio of 1:1. Responsibilities include performing various interventional procedures such as:

• Vascular access
• IVC Filter placement/removal
• Embolization
• TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
• UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
• Fistula gram
• PCN (Percutaneous Nephrostomy)
• PTC (Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography)
• Drains and venous reconstruction
• Circulating for complex procedures

Additional Information

• Call Requirements: 2 shifts of call during the contract
• Floating may be required as needed
• Weekend Coverage: Every other or every third weekend
• Orientation: 30 hours
